  My Skin – Students

  This three-week student series biblically addresses the topics of both racial tension and gospel-centered reconciliation. It’s no stretch to say that the issue of race has become a hot topic recently. This teaching guide looks at the different ways students can better reflect the diversity of God’s Kingdom, listen to those who are different than them, and pursue justice in all areas of their lives.

    Week 1

    Salvation is for all people, regardless of nationality, race, or economic status. Our youth group should reflect this truth.

    Week 2

    Rather than burrowing yourself further into your opinions (or the opinions of people who agree with you) take time to listen to others about racism, discrimination, and reconciliation.

    Week 3

    We can perform all the religious acts we can think of, but if we are standing in the way of justice, God will reject them.
