Overview
This three-week series examines forgiveness. Because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we have forgiveness of sin and relationship with God. This forgiveness is fully given to all who come to Christ. Because it’s given freely in Christ, Christians can freely forgive others. Also, forgiveness in Christ is not temporary, but forever.
Weekly Previews
Week 1
Jesus’s death on the cross fully paid the price for our sins, and we are forgiven.
Week 2
God has freely forgiven us in Christ; we did not earn it. Because we have been forgiven, we can freely forgive others who have wronged us.
Week 3
God’s forgiveness in Christ is complete. Nothing can be added to it, and we can rest assured that forgiveness is provided forever.
