Series Guide

Overview

This four-week series examines the biblical and theological understanding of time, eternity, God, and the incarnation. Through examining Scripture, we can see that God is both beyond our time but also engages and inhabits time in the world. The incarnation reveals God coming into time but being different than us as well. Since God experiences time differently and is beyond our limitation, we can trust his timing with regards to circumstances in our lives.

Weekly Previews

God and Time - Week 1

We can debate about God, eternity, and how everything relates, but no matter where we land, God exists in a reality that is different than ours, and he gives us eternal life when place our faith in Jesus.

God and Time - Week 2

Scripture teaches that God is outside time but also engages with the world inside of time. Time is different for God in comparison to our perceptions.

God and Time - Week 3

God’s relationship to space and time are ultimately revealed in the incarnation of Jesus.

God and Time - Week 4

Since God is both beyond our time but also engages with the world in real time, we know that God has the right time for things to take place in our lives.
